About Chayeinu Chaburas
Chayeinu was born as a result of people in the workplace looking for a way to reconnect with learning Iyun in the way they had done in Yeshiva or Kollel. Others did not manage to connect with the Shiurim in Yeshiva, but now were looking for a way to develop their Iyun skills.
The programs offers full a booklet containing copies of sources with clear guidance notes and is usually followed by a short Shiur based on the notes.
Subjects typically start from Gemoro, go through relevant Rishonim, examining the way the Achronim explain them and end up with the Halachic application.
Chayeinu is associated with Kollel Tiferes Chaim in Manchester UK, one of the premier Kollelim in Europe today; the Kollel called Tiferes "Chaim", is proud to demonstrate that Torah is indeed "Ki Heim Chayeinu"!

With 10 years’ experience in frontline leadership of the Kollel world and the Rosh Kollel of Tiferes Chaim Manchester, Rabbi Schonberg found himself uniquely positioned to bridge the Kollel world with the people in the workforce. Through his contact to many Torah supporters, he recognised a thirst amongst them to re-connect to “Yeshiva learning” in some way. With this in mind, he developed the Chayeinu concept, modelled on similar programs in the USA. Currently Chayeinu Chaburas, offer popular weekly Iyun Sedorim, a daily Iyun Seder, and weekly Shiurim.
Yismach Yisroel Kollelim
Helping people keep a strong learning Seder in the face of the challenges of people in the work place, Kollel Yismach Yisroel was set up as a pre-work Kollel. Succefully running for 20 years it currntly provides a service for over 50 people every weekday.
Realising the growing need for more of such programs, Kollel Yismach approached Chayeinu with a request to set up further Chaburos catered to the businessman.
Together, the weekly Iyun Chabura and the daily After-Work Chabura, was set up and are hugely successful.
